CAN TURY, IBIZA stylish finca
Can Truy is a beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse
Originally an olive oil press, the word “Truy” is Catalan for the heavy stone that would have crushed the olives. The finca has been styled and decorated using an earthy palette of natural materials and furniture from from Bali, India and Morocco, whilst retaining the indigenous sabina beams and characteristic thick walls..The extensive grounds are abundant with lavender, verbena, rosemary, oleander, giant aloe vera, cacti, ancient pine and olive trees, as well as an orchard supplying morning orange juice and lemons for sundowners.
Originally an olive oil press
Can Truy offers all the modern comforts of a boutique hotel, such as a meet and greet check in, housekeeping services and a grocery delivery service.
here is the tour in photos of the beautyfull and stylish, yet simple, CAN TURY Finca
Can Truy has five double bedrooms, two in the main house which share a bathroom and three in the casita, one en suite, and two which share the large bathroom, sleeping a total of ten adults or two families. Two cots and a folding bed for kids are available to use for extra little guests.
All rooms, except the master bedroom can be made up as twin bedrooms or as super kings with duvets or sheets, making the house suitable for pilates or yoga retreats.
The property is divided into two parts, the main house with its master bedroom and twin bedroom and the Casita, linked by the courtyard, the double story tower that was once the mill, with an extra three bedrooms. This makes it perfectly suited to two families each having their own privacy.
GARDENS & PLAYGROUND
Can Truy is a beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse (finca), situated in the small hamlet of S’Olivera, between San Rafael and Can Tomas to the west of the island of Ibiza.
The mature gardens of Can Truy give the property a true Ibicencan feel. Our gardener Pepe has tended the garden since he was 5 years old with his father. To the north of the house is an enchanting garden where you can dine under fairy lights and enjoy views of the forest and the sun setting behind the hills and to the front is the large terrace and pool area with views of the orchard and ancient olive trees..
The playground is sheltered under two big shady pine trees. There is a sandpit and a trampoline, swings, a slide, a water shoot game, and a ping pong table.

POOL time …
The swimming pool, which uses a salt water system and minimal chemicals, can also be heated (for a fee to cover the electricity), out of season stretching the swimming season from April to October..
It is flanked by double Balinese sun loungers and sun shades. A huge iroko deck under the ancient olive tree offers loads of natural shade.
