City – Koh kood / Koh Mak / Samet island

Koh Kood – Koh Mak – Koh Samet …. still isolated beaches which have not been spoiled!
Koh Kood: Home to untamed jungle, pristine beaches and fishing villages, Koh Kood is Thailand’s fourth largest island but its least populated, with only around 2,000 residents, a smattering of mid-range to six-star resorts dotting along its densely forested coastline, nearly each having its own patch of private beach. Remarkably underdeveloped compared to its popular neighbour Koh Chang, Kod Kood receives far, far fewer visitors as it requires quite a bit of travel, which is what keeps the island an exclusive hidden gem for those willing to make the effort. Here you can forget about any nightlife or noise – active travellers may find plenty of opportunities for diving, snorkelling and hiking, but for most people, Koh Kood is simply the perfect place to stargaze and watch the tides roll by.
Koh Mak: is a small tropical island in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, close to Cambodia. The island is a well-kept secret for most travelers. It’s (still) a quiet place with a laid-back atmosphere. It’s located south of ‘big brother’ Koh Chang, and north of Koh Kood – they all are completely different! Koh Mak is a relatively undeveloped island, it feels like Thailand from 20 years ago.
It’s a great island to visit if you don’t want to follow the big crowds. Koh Mak is a great island for couples and families, there aren’t many parties going on, though there are a few bars.
The best part of Koh Mak though: gorgeous, empty beaches! We’ve visited many more Thai island and Koh Mak still is one of our favorites to visit. Continue reading for all our best Koh Mak tips!
Koh Samet: Koh Samet is a great place to visit if you want to chill and unwind. There are no big attractions, but it does have nice beaches and you can have a good time at one of the many beach restaurants, particularly in the evening. Hat Sai Kaew Beach is where you can go if you want to be in a more vibrant part of the island.
Best time to visit those islands: Hot And Dry Season
